Fast swaps
Fast swaps cover the Bitcoin → other chains direction (EVM, TON, and Solana) and let users receive their tokens in ~10 minutes — after one Bitcoin confirmation — versus the ~20 minutes (two confirmations) a standard swap waits.
How it works
1. User broadcasts the BTC bridge/swap request on Bitcoin
2. A Filler watching the Bitcoin mempool detects the valid request and prepares the swap
(executing BTC → the target token on the DEX) so the rate is locked in at that moment
3. After one Bitcoin confirmation (~10 min), the Filler sends the target-chain tokens to
the user — at the best rate available when it acted
4. After the standard two confirmations, the minted TeleBTC is routed to the Filler
(repaying it) instead of to the user
A Filler delivers after a single confirmation instead of the two a standard swap waits for, so the user is paid in roughly half the time. See Fillers for how the role is repaid and what risk it absorbs.
Benefits
- Speed — tokens in ~10 minutes (one confirmation) instead of ~20 (two).
- Best rate at the moment — the Filler prepares the swap as soon as it sees the request, locking in the current market rate. A standard swap is exposed to price movement across the full ~20-minute window and can miss its minimum output; a fast swap is far less likely to.
Cost
Fillers charge an optional fee for the speed and rate lock-in. Users who don't mind waiting the full two confirmations can settle normally and skip it.
